Yuvraj Singh adds another BMW to his exotic car collection

Former Indian cricketer, Yuvraj Singh recently took delivery of his new BMW X7 SUV. The top-of-the-line seven-seater SUV from the Bavarian is available in two trim levels – xDrive30d DPE Signature and the xDriveM50d. The batsman/leg-spin bowler has chosen the top-spec M Sport model that retails for ₹1,18,50,000 (ex-showroom price).

Yuvraj Singh’s latest X7 SUV packs in a 3.0-litre inline-6 ​​engine that produces 335 hp and 450 Nm of torque, and it comes mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission mated to an all-wheel drivetrain.

The interior is also fitted with all the premium materials like Vernasca design perforated leather upholstery, a premium audio system, panorama glass roof, HUD etc. The dashboard also boasts of a massive 24.6-inch screen that houses the 12.3-inch infotainment screen and 12.3 -inch instrument cluster. Gesture control, ambient lighting, four-zone climate control, wireless charging lane monitoring and self-levelling suspensions are some of the added gadgetry of these SUV.

The X7 is the recent addition to Yuvi’s exotic collection, which also includes cars like Lamborghini Murcielago, Bentley Continental GT and recently a MINI Cooper Countryman S. There’s also an Audi Q5 some tucked neatly beside the X7 SUV in the image above. However, his BMW collection goes deeper with some fantastic vehicles in the past.

One such was the BMW E46 M3 Convertible – the top-of-the-line performance convertible model in BMW 3 series line-up. It was launched globally, but never in India. More than 30,000 units of these marvelous convertibles were produced in Regensburg until 2006. Yuvraj Singh was one such lucky recipient, who had got hold of the model through export.
