Six more Plymouth school employees to retire in June
PLYMOUTH – School officials have announced retirement plans for six veteran employees. All six will step back from their duties at the end of the school year in June.
Mary Lavin, a science teacher at Plymouth Community Intermediate School, will retire June 30 after 30 years of service to the district.
Jan Marie Ezrin, house secretary at Plymouth Community Intermediate school, will retire June 30 after more than 26 years of service to the district.
Cynthia Jansson, special education secretary at Plymouth Community Intermediate School, will retire June 30 after 25 years of service to the district.
Linda McKenna, administrative assistant for human resources for the district, will retire June 30 after more than 25 years of service to the district.
Karen Monteiro, a house secretary at Plymouth Community Intermediate School, will retire June 30 after more than 29 years of service to the district.
Diane Yaeger, health office paraeducator at Indian Brook Elementary School, will retire June 30 after 26 years of service to the district.
The district has also announced several appointments and resignations. The appointments are Rebekah Lish, science teacher (one-year appointment), PNHS; Mark Villano, assistant boys spring track and field coach, PNHS; Franklin Cueva Prieto, second shift custodian, PNHS; Faith Murphy, Para-2 security receptionist, WES; Patricia Santana, Para-3 ELL specialist support, HES; Suzanne Williams, Para-1 classroom, CSES; Delaney Fliegel, Para-3 CARE, PNHS; Amy Riordan, Para-1 Moderate Special Needs, PSHS; Erik Silva, second shift custodian, PNHS; Brandi Tavares, Para-3 STRIVE, IBES; and Marcus Williams, second shift custodian, PNHS.
The resignations are Donald Dowling III, second shift custodian, PSHS; Margaret Grimes, School Committee secretary, DW; Brad Brothers, school business administrator, DW; Megan Cushing, cafeteria worker – team leader, CSES; and Katelyn Thompson, mathematics teacher, PNHS.
