Here’s Why We’re Looking Forward To The 2023 Volvo S60

The S60 from Volvo is a high-end compact sedan with an emphasis on comfort and design. The S60 has a stylish and well-designed cabin, some of the most supportive and comfortable seats in its class, and some of the best-executed modern driving aids available.

The B5 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with mild hybrid support or the T8, a plug-in hybrid with turbocharging and supercharging on a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, provide the power.

Volvo has given the S60 a minor external style update for 2023. The bulk of the modifications are visible in the front and rear bumpers, although new wheel designs are also available.

The S60’s interior has Volvo’s most recent infotainment system. This system, which is relatively small and was designed by Google, is exceptional in the field and has outstanding speech recognition in addition to a simple menu system.

The 2023 Volvo S60 Has A Classy Facelifted Exterior In The 2023 Model Year

Instead of totally redesigning the Volvo S60 sedan’s body, the 2023 upgrade will focus on enhancing the present Volvo S60 sedan’s futuristic look. Volvo wouldn’t want to jeopardize their already perfect design.

Volvo Cars have instead concentrated on refining the present aesthetic elements, with the sleek roof and sweeping body lines already looking as contemporary as can be.

A redesigned front and back bumper and some sporty new wheel choices are part of the aesthetic upgrade. The Volvo S60 bumpers appear much curvier now, despite the modest alterations. For even more streamlined overall aesthetics, the rear fascia should have an integrated exhaust tailpipe design.

When this upgraded model comes out for sale in the Volvo lineup, you can expect slightly restyled, sharper front air intakes and new wheels to customize your ride. A press shot of a showcase design reveals an unusual wheel design.

It features carved aerodynamic slats that form a six-spoke design. Volvo anticipates that this wheel option will be famous for the new Volvo S60.

The 2023 Volvo S60 Is A Smooth And Quiet Ride

The non-hybrid 2023 Volvo S60 is powered by a 260-hp turbocharged four-cylinder engine with front or all-wheel drive.

The Recharge plug-in hybrid with all-wheel drive only increases to a horsepower of 400. The most technologically advanced Recharge Polestar Engineered is even crazier.

The latter has a 415 horsepower and 494 pound-feet of torque output. The Polestar version is exclusively accessible as a component of a Care by Volvo subscription package and includes adjustable dampers and special 19-inch alloy wheels.

The higher-spec 2023 Volvo S60 trim levels handle really nicely. Along the twisty roads, the steering displays superb turning grip and is quick and accurate.

Due to its quieter driving characteristics compared to sportier options like the Alfa Romeo Giulia and the BMW 3-series, the more basic 2023 Volvo S6O model is slower when going against four-cylinder rivals.

Adding To The 2023 Volvo S60 Being A Smooth And Quiet Ride, It Is Also Luxurious

Inside the S60, where luxurious materials abound, and the display of exceptional attention to detail is, Volvo proudly displays its excellent build quality. The design is unmistakably innovative with embellishments like jeweled switchgear and incredibly plush chairs.

It has luxurious amenities. This includes a head-up display, massaging front seats, ambient interior lighting, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, and more. Backseat passengers will like the spacious legroom and headroom. They will also appreciate the supportive and comfortable bucket seats that are provided for front-seat passengers.

Despite the fact that all of these storage areas have a small amount of room, the interior cubby space is accentuated by usable door pockets, a center console with a tray and a retractable cover, and a convenient bin below the armrest. Additionally, passengers can place five carry-on bags, just one less than the 3-series, in the trunk of the S60.

The car is imposing. Not only are Volvo fans looking forward to it, but so are we.
